Do you make Slip Covers for couches?
The process is as follows:
- If you’re in Sydney, we’d ideally ship the couch to our factory so that we can make it perfectly for your couch.
- If you’re not in Sydney or would prefer to not spend on shipping, we can use your current slipcover as a template to make the new one. This involves cutting the current one up to make the pattern. If you’d prefer we don’t cut it up, that’s ok, we can work with it as is however every time we take a step back from the optimal solution to create the slipcover, it risks being a little less perfect. We like to be upfront about this at the start of the process.
In regards to fabrics we can create with one of our fabrics, recommend a fabric to you for your scheme and or make with a fabric you have specified.
It’s important to note that slipcovers generally take 20-25m of fabric, for a 4 seater it’ll be closer to 30m so the fabric alone adds up. We like to share that these are often a 'wow' solution to a new couch but not necessarily a cost effective solution. It does come down to fabric selection.
Our lead time is generally 4 weeks or less from receiving the couch or slipcover but we always confirm this at the time of placing the order as it depends on the production schedule at the time.
What is your manufacturing lead time?
Each item from Land. is custom made for you. When you place your order, our manufacturers and printers in Australia are notified, and the process of manufacturing begins. This process allows us to stick to our promise of manufacturing locally, for you in a certain time frame. Each item has a different lead time as depending on the item as well as the fabric that it’s being covered in. We will keep you updated however all items will have a manufacturing lead time of between 10 days to 6 weeks.
If we are creating an item for you that is not on the website, please allow up to 8 weeks manufacturing time.
During the Christmas period our factories take a 4 week break. If you order after the Christmas cut off date (October 31st 2022) and before the factory returns (16th January 2023), please add up to another 4 weeks for your product to be sent to you. We do of course try to get your product to you as soon as possible.
Do you have any child and pet friendly fabrics?
We sure do! Just use our fabric filter to see the options. All of these fabrics are woven with a mix of natural and synthetic fibres to ensure that they stand the test of time. These fabrics have a rub count of 100,000+ rubs. The rub count is the industry standard to measure durability of fabric. 100,000+ rubs is also strong enough for commercial use.
How do I care for my outdoor pieces?
Our outdoor fabric has a water repellent coating. Please note however that this fabric is not waterproof. This coating minimises dirt and stains from being absorbed however preventive maintenance remains important.
The fabric has a high light fastness of greater than 7 however if left in the Australian sun the UV rays will impact colours overtime. To ensure your cushion's quality is maintained, we advise that you bring undercover or indoors after use and always limit the amount of direct sunlight on your cushions.
Spot clean by brushing off loose dirt and using a soft sponge with mild detergent and lukewarm water. Allow the cushion to air dry. If your covers are removable, you may hand wash or delicate machine wash with gentle soap and then air dry.
Will my Land. product look exactly as per the website images?
Each piece is unique as it is made-to-order. Colour and or pattern placement may differ slightly to the image.
Do you cushions come with an insert?
Yes, they come with a premium feather insert.
Do you reupholster personal furniture pieces?
Yes! Please email through photos of your piece, approximate dimensions and what Land. fabric you’d like to reupholster it in to help@landhome.com.au. We will then send you a quote. Please note that the shipping on this occasion will be covered by yourself.
Can I use Land. fabric for commercial use?
Our standard fabric is for high use residential however at special request, we have the capabilities to print onto commercial grade fabric. Please email us at help@landhome.com.au with your request.
Will Land. source fabric if what I’m looking for is not offered on the Land. website?
We are open to this but it depends on the fabric selection. Please email us at help@landhome.com.au with your requirements and we’ll do our best to help!
Do you have a shopfront?
No we don’t, our aim is to save on waste and create our special pieces as they are ordered. We are very happy however to help you design a space, share inspiration with you and generally support any queries you have. Please email help@landhome.com.au or chat with us on the bottom right hand side of this page. We’ll get right onto it.
When is your next collection being released?
We aim to release new furniture designs and fabrics every 3 months.
Do you create your fabrics in custom colours?
Yes! We can update any of our fabric designs to your colour needs! Please email us at help@landhome.com.au and we’ll talk you through the process.
Is there a warranty on Land. products?
Yes, there’s a 1 year warranty. Please contact help@landhome.com.au if you have any concerns.
Can I pick up my own order?

What is your shipping timeframe?
Once our pieces are completed, we will advise you and ship the item immediately. It will arrive within 5 business days (metro) and within 14 business days (regional).
How much is shipping?
Shipping is as per the below and will be shipped via Australia Post or the most cost effective freight company for your order.

Can I expedite my order?
If you need your order in a tighter timeframe than offered, please reach out to us at help@landhome.com.au and we’ll do everything we can to meet your timeframes.
How can I change my shipping address?
If you have entered an incorrect address when checking out, no problems! Just email us at help@landhome.com.au within 24hours and we’ll correct it for you with no additional charge.
What if I want to cancel or change my order?
As these are personalised products, we are unable to make changes to your order. Please take care when selecting your product, we are always here to help!
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment we ship our fabric internationally however not our furniture pieces. If you’re interested in this, please email us at help@landhome.com.au
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept Apple Pay and Paypal. Financing is available through AfterPay and Zip Pay. We process all payments in AUD.
Returns & Exchanges
Can you return a Land. product?
We strive to provide you with gorgeous, personalised, high quality products and we are proud of these products and the teams we partner with to deliver them. If however you’re not satisfied we are happy to accept returns on faulty, full price items at any time in the first 14 days following your purchase. Please email us at help@landhome.com.au
No refund or exchange applies for change of mind (including - but not limited to - colour, size, image on web not being identical to the piece received).
We will refund via your original form of payment and we’ll process the refund within a week upon receiving the product in our head office in Sydney. We will not cover the cost of shipping. Where possible please return the item in its original packaging.
Can you exchange a Land. product?
No, unfortunately we do not offer this as it’s a personalised product.
